Brian Paddick is serious about keeping our streets safe. After 30 years as a policeman on the front line in the fight against crime in the capital, Brian will make cutting crime his top priority as Mayor. He has pledged to reduce crime in London by 5% every year in his first term and will focus on getting knives and guns off our streets.

Brian says' "It's shameful that after so long in office, Ken Livingstone has failed to reach his own crime targets and has let Londoners down. People don't feel safe in their neighbourhoods, young people are killing each other in our communities and knife crime is on the rise."I've got the experience needed to really tackle crime, I've got a proven track record not just spin and empty promises."
