Brian Paddick Liberal Democrat Mayoral Candidate

The race for City Hall is hotting up as Brian Paddick gives Mayor Livingstone and Henley MP, Boris Johnson, a run for their money. The Evening Standard has declared that "it's no contest - Paddick must be mayor" adding, "Dignified and accomplished, he offers London what it needs in a Mayor: a true statesman."

A life-long Londoner, Brian is serious about making life better in the capital. His priorities will be making our streets safer, improving public transport and providing more affordable housing.

With 30 years experience in the Metropolitan Police Service, he has the experience to tackle crime head on and get guns and knives off our streets. After nearly a decade in charge, Mayor Livingstone has failed to reach his own target of cutting crime by 50%. Brian will be accountable to Londoners, if he doesn't keep his promise to reduce crime by 5% each year, he has pledged not to stand for election again.
