Samina Safdar Lib Dem Candidate for Forest ward campaigning with Farooq Qureshi at Whipps Cross Hospital

Local Focus Team member Samina Safdar has been chosen by the Liberal Democrats to contest the forthcoming by-election in Forest Ward. Samina lives locally in Carnarvon Road with her husband and three young children. She has lived in the area all her life and works locally as a service manager dealing with disabled children and their carers. Her job means that she contacts the Council on a number of issues including social services, education and benefits. She also has dealings with Whipps Cross and Great Ormond Street Hospitals.

Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate and member of the Forest Focus team, Cllr. Farooq Qureshi says:"I am delighted that Samina is our candidate. She will make a great councillor. She knows the area well and knows how to deal with the Council. Samina Safdar is an experienced and hard working member of the Focus Team and, with your support, will help me to represent the residents of Forest Ward on the Council."
