It's a two horse race in Forest Ward - Make your vote count, vote Liberal Democrat8.00.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 3rd Jun 2008
It is a two horse race in Forest Ward, if we look at last elections results you can see that only Labour or the Liberal Democrats can win. The by-election in Forest Ward was called because one of the three ward councillors has resigned, leaving only two - Liberal Democrat councillor Farooq Qureshi and a Labour councillor. The election is expected to be very close between hard working local resident Samina Safdar and the Labour Party candidate. Local people are backing Lib Dem Focus Team member Samina Safdar as they know that the Liberal Democrats work hard all the year round and not just at election times. People are saying that Labour has let them down. Make sure you vote, don't let Labour sneak in. Your vote counts - vote Liberal Democrat on June 12th.
