The disused public toilets

Waltham Forest Council has recently received a planning application for these, now closed, public toilets. The plan is to demolish them and, on the site, build a three storey community centre. At the time of writing this is all that we know as planning officers have not yet had time to discuss the application with the applicant. Two immediate questions spring to mind: Why does a community centre need to be on three storeys? Where will visitors park in this restricted part of Crownfield Road? You may have other questions. Local residents have already received consultation letters. Whatever your views on this subject please respond and let the council know.
