Cathall Road Skills Centre - News update

9.00.00am GMT Thu 11th Mar 2010

Work has now started on the building of this centre at the same time as a new skills centre, for apprentices was opened on the Olympic site itself in November 2009. The main reason for the Skills Centre at Cathall was to give local people the chance to gain training, development of skills and potential for employment. Why did the Olympic Development Agency decide to build a centre on the Olympic site? Was it because there was too much delay with the Cathall centre being built on land that had been vacant for two years?
