Unsightly Outlook building to be demolished.

The derelict Outlook building in Leyton High Road, which we have been trying to get demolished, looks likely to be sold to a Housing Association. The Islington & Shoreditch Housing Association has put in new plans to the Council for both the Outlook building and the unsightly disused garage at the back to build 36 dwellings 8x1 bed, 21x2 bed and 7x3 bed. Four are for wheelchair users, which have parking spaces. The Leyton Liberal Democrat Focus Team say: "At last these unsightly buildings will be demolished, however the lack of parking places will increase the parking problems in the area". watch this space for more news.
