He believes strongly in education and is a school governor at both Downsell and Buxton Schools. He is also interested in housing and environmental issues. Joe does voluntary security work in Walthamstow and travels around the country training other people to do this work. He is at his best working with members of the local community and helping to resolve problems. He has lived in the borough for 23 years and brought up his family in the Cathall area. Milton has spent much of his time dealing with housing and employment issues and ensuring that green space use in the area is adequately protected. Currently he is particularly involved in controlled parking zones, Drapers Field and fighting the rise in crime.
