Jenny Sullivan

Jenny Sullivan has lived in Leyton for over 30 years and is a governor of 3 local schools, including Newport Primary. A teacher for over 35 years, Jenny finished her career as a deputy headteacher in Hackney. Her main interests have always been in education and social services and she is a member of several committees in these fields.

Jenny's first campaign, with the Focus Team, was to clean up Grove Green ward. Whilst the area certainly looks better, it is still a constant battle with fly-tippers and polluters - not to mention the supermarket trolleys! Her most recent campaigns have been to increase recycling and to re-open the amenity tip in Leyton.

Neal Chubb

Neal Chubb is an experienced campaigner, having been a councillor in the past. He is a staunch environmentalist and is particularly interested in the appearance of our surroundings. A stickler for detail, Neal is a force to be reckoned with when taking up issues on behalf of local people - as many council officers have found! Neal is a governor at Dawlish Primary School.

Paul Olford

Paul Olford was born locally, in Lindley Road, and attended Newport Infant and Junior Schools. Paul has been a tenant representative for many years, campaigning for better living conditions for tenants.

Although Paul's main interest is in housing, he is also a campaigner for a better local environment and in the reduction of hate crimes. As a disabled person, Paul is only too aware of the difficulties faced by other disabled people and would like to see them have the opportunity to play a more active role in local democracy.
